Remo's Clear Emperors allow for a warm, open tone with a bright attack. They're perfect for rock and pop music, but also very well suited for other genres such as funk and latin. The heads consist of two free-floating plies of Mylar, each only 7 mil (0.18 mm) thick. A thin layer of oil between the two plies ensures optimal muffling of any unwanted overtones. The Remo Emperor Clear drumheads are also highly durable, so they'll last you a long time.
